So why did Morikawa choose Miyata as Ippos main rival over Sendo or even better Vorg? And why is he potrayed as such a ultra Genius super Brillant Boxer when he's not more then a one Trick pony? I mean as a counterpuncher himself, who also takes risks(Thats atleast how i understood it when their mentioned that Sawamura's counters got this dark terrifying aura while Miyata's counters are more like beatiful shining counters or whatever lmao, while Sawamura is pretty much like Joe from Ashita No Joe who does not really care if he gets hit, if he sees an opportunity to counter he counters while Miyata is always playing the safe card a lot like Floyd Mayweather as how i see it)Sawamura should be able to figure Miyata out. I think even someone like Sawamura is better then Miyata, maybe not when it comes to positioning because of his Superb footwork and his timing, but in everyting else i think Sawamura is the better boxer and i would even dare to say that he would beat Miyata. Ippo and Sendo have their one round ko power. So all he's got are counters and even more counters, thats it. Isn't he just a one Trick pony? Idk how it would be in his natural weightclass but as a featherweight mans got no Power, he's constantly struggling with his weight management. I understand he has like really good footwork, fast hands and the perfect sense for timing or whatever, but what actually makes him so good?
